Expiration dates are arbitrarily assigned by food manufacturers to every batch of their produce. However, taking hold of this and following these numbers lead to significant amounts of food wastes. But, let me remind you that the idea of ignoring food expiration dates doesn’t mean that you are not attentive to what you buy when you shop.
